Oblate Gifts to the Monks of Personal Care Products

We Love Our Monks!  There is a new way to show our love and support for the monks of St. Leo Abbey.   The purpose is to help the monks keep their common supply room stocked with personal care products for the monks’ personal use.  If you wish to participate, please bring a donation of any personal care product to the Oblate meetings each month.   We will place a box in the Lake Room to collect your donations.  

Examples of items you may wish to donate are:  toothpaste, mouth wash, floss, toothbrushes, deodorant, body wash, shaving items, toilet paper, Qtips, shampoo, etc.

There are good deals in the weekly advertising flyers that might help you purchase an item for the monks at a reduced cost.  If you have a coupon for these products you can reduce your out-of-pocket cost even more. 

Publix

Degree deodorant for .45 cents:  (Limit 1 per purchase).  Look for the green ”Score Big Savings” flyer on the Publix weekly advertisement display stand.  The green flyer has a photo of a football on the front.  Inside there is a coupon for $2.00-off Degree or Dove deodorant.  Publix sells some of the Degree deodorant for $2.45, making it just .45 with the coupon.  The coupon is valid through September 16.

Walgreens

Mitchum deodorant for .99 cents:  Pay $2.99, get back $2.00 in Register Rewards at check out to make the price .99 cents.  (Limit one per purchase).  

CVS

Notes for shopping at CVS:
You must have a CVS reward card to get these deals, free at the counter.
CVS Extra Care Bucks are printed at the bottom of the receipt.
To save more money you can combine manufacturer coupons with your Extra Care Bucks.

Listerine Mouthwash for $1.99. (Limit of 2 per card):  Pay $2.99 with card, get back $1.00 in Extra Care Bucks at check out to make the price $1.99.  Need some ideas on how to use your $1 Extra Care Buck?
