Continued restoration of abbey

The monks are back at work on the second floor of the abbey.  They are removing the paneling that was added in the 1970s (I think) and restoring the second floor to near its original condition.

The heavy rains blew tree limbs down and made a temporary lake in front of the Church of the Holy Cross.

When you arrive for Mass on Sunday and walk from the parking lot, you can remember Elijah and Elisha at the Jordan River. (2 Kings 2).  You will be able to cross the fountain courtyard on dry ground. All the water has departed.
