  1. Dear John & Theresa,
Thank you, good job, now we have a
permanent photo of the "Special Day" at St. Leo Abbey.
Congratulations to our Oblate Novices & Final Oblations members.
Each day the Rule of St.Benedict will come alive and guide us all on our journey. We are so bless with Abbot Issac and to be able to attend the Abbey & learn from the Monks.
    Sincerely,
    Ann Marie Porta

  2. Thank you Ann Marie, I think everyone feels blessed to have a Benedictine monastery in Florida and an abbot who personally leads and teaches the Oblates.

We are very happy for the newest Oblate novices and Oblates for 2011 who have become associated with St. Leo Abbey.
    It was a special day.

  3. Dear John and Theresa,

Thank you for your time and talent which you have so generously given to all of us not just yesterday, but all year. You helped make a very special day... memorable.

We are blessed to know you. Thanks to Abbot Issac who as Ann said, invests so much in our formation as oblates.

    Blessings and +PAX,

    Caroline

  4. Hi Caroline,

We were excited for the new Oblates and novices. St Leo Abbey is a wonderful place for stillness and listening to God.

  5. In all reality, thank you guys for accepting the call from God to help organize the Oblate Program. I know I haven't been there for long, however, you guys have graciously assisted in my great experiences at the Abbey.

Final Oblation Day is another beautiful memory push-pinned on the corkboard of my life!

    Thank you all!

    Madda' Luv and Blesssings!
    Your brutha' in Christ,
    Hector

  6. Hi Hector,

It was good to see you become a Benedictine Oblate last month. The Oblate program if filled with great people like you, old and new Oblates alike. Everyone is fortunate to have this program at St. Leo Abbey.
